If you buy a domain, just install your own forum using free open source software
The best I have used is Phorum, you can create some really cool forums with it
and there are heaps of mods you can easily implement, like user picture galleries
Embed attachments, etc. I could help you in setting it up, I have hosted a forum with
this software before.
