So I was walkin' down the street one day, minding my own business, when this Glinka guy comes up to me and kicks me in the face, and then tells me to register at these forums.
So, fearing for my life, I did just that.

Hi. I'm Rachel.
I go by LusikkaMage on YouTube and I run my http://www.moosader.com site with my games and tutorials and such.
My primary language is C++, though I have some experience with Java, C#, MIPS Assembly, and... er... Visual Basic 5.

Most of my released stuff has been done in C++ with Allegro, but I'm trying to convert to using just SDL now (and, once I get around to fixing my desktop computer, OpenGL), and I'm going to get around to learning some Lua this summer as well. Also trying to get around to using XNA, and trying to catch up on Java again (it's been... oh... 5 years since I had a class in Java?)

I don't currently have internet access at my apartment, though, so I probably won't be as active as I would like.

Anyway, I'm hungry so I'm going to go now.

Wow- female coder... this calls for our quote from irc.freenode.net ##C++ :
"girls are mythical creatures that sometimes appear in this channel and then, when discovered, are swamped by geeks until they run off back into the mythology from whence they came"

XD just kidding, welcome and make yourself at home!

Welcome to the forums, I too took a look at a couple of your vids. I like them. Right now I am doing XNA, it is way different because it is written in C#, personally I like C++ a lot more, it just makes more sense to me.

Are you still helping out with Elysian Shadows?

Nope, they have one or two new spriters now and haven't asked for my help even though I've offered to help with stuff more like concept art / actual hand-drawn art. I quit spriting for them because I have too much school. Though... I guess they don't get a ton done during the semester anyways. o_o;

I'd prefer working on smaller team projects, though. Trying to get smaller projects going right now. (But, again, school. grr -_-)
