C++ Tutorials - Absolute n00b spoonfeed

Hello everybody I get ask every so often here and so I thought I would post a tread for it. To see where everybody is from that is. You have to say it's pretty cool to see all the people that antiRTFM has: inspired, helped, taught, given the idea that maybe C++ isn't so difficult to start or learn. I say inspire because you never know his videos could of helped start someone on their way to become the next Bill Gates or the next creators of a WOW type games. I bring this up because it would be neat to see where everybody's from, how far his help has reached out in the world.
So I'll start by saying I'm originally from Washington State(if I just say Washington on the east coast they think DC) I moved here to Florida back in December. I drove down when the worst storm that I have ever seen in Washington hit. There was snow in Vegas when I drove through it to give you an idea how bad it was, but that's a whole other story and not really the point of this post. I just say it because I've only lived in Florida since Christmas, well the day after. So there's my long story just to say I'm from Florida (Orlando area)yes by all the theme parks. I don't expect you to give your address or anything like that just where we all are from. Even a one word post would be cool.

I'm from Croatia, Europe and I really think you pin-pointed this post in perfect time as we are getting quite a lot people here. We can truly call ourselves C++ community now

Here is an other word for you to learn: "Kaas"
it means Cheese! woh, I suppose you always wished you knew that didn't you? :p

Eheh, well my futzing around with languages is what got me the name "LusikkaMage" (Which was originally "Kadotuksen Lusikka"... the longer one meaning "Spoon of Doom" in Finnish, w/ Lusikka meaning Spoon.
I like languages, though I've never really learned any thoroughly.

I am from Abilene TX, grew up in Oregon. Have lived in Phoenix and Tucson Arizona, North Carolina and Los Angeles California.

I have visited The Czech Republic and Ireland installing Motoman Robots in the concrete block industry. I am a product of the world wide economic disaster, lost my job in May and now find myself learning C++ for a new career developing Web Sites for the RV Industry. At 60 years old I'm learing a new trade so my wife and I can travel the USA in our Silver Eagle Bus Conversion.
